In August, the plan was to finish the final editing process on Beneath the Cracks and publish it. Life had other things in mind, I’m afraid, and due to the unforeseen, I am running a bit behind schedule. I wish with all of my heart that the delay hadn’t happened, and not because of the book, but because losing a parent is the most horribly, painful and heart-wrenching event I’ve ever experienced in my life.
So as I grieve for my father, who was and always will be, my hero, my standard of measurement for all men, I will try to get caught up and refocused on the business of living. And, Dad, your work ethic will live on in your children, as we all get back to honoring our commitments.
